looking around,
i try to salavage whats left of my heart.
fragments, shards, droplets.. of a life once lived,
scatter the floor.

I know not where to turn now,
the pieces of yesterday lie around mirroring
a love once held....
feelings once felt...
times once had...

how do you gather the pieces of your life,
together to form another way?
how do you pull yourself away from a deep pain,
that only seems to echo from within?
the blood, the sweat, the tears,
jarring at you vividly..

how do you turn to the one you love,
knowing she no longer loves you,
and not feel the pain?
you cant.

and as you hear the music,
to which your steps
once danced together,
you know the dance of life goes on....
